Task Quotient Assessments - TQ
Behavioral research suggests that the most effective people are those who understand themselves, both their strengths and weaknesses,
so they can develop strategies to meet the demands of their environment.
This assessment tool evaluates an person's current job alignment, or it can be used to prescreen candidates for best job fit.
Task Quotient defines the ideal mixture of each of 3 task types – Routine, Trouble-Shooting and Project – that provide an individual
the most intrinsic motivation, or personal satisfaction.
A individual's behavior is a necessary and integral part of who they are. In other words much of an person's behavior comes from "nature"
(inherent), and much comes from "nurture" (upbringing).
This report will provide insight to the environment in which the person lives and works, and how it motivates or demotivates him/her, based
on the types of tasks done.
This motivation or demotivation is derived from how the combination of the person's "nature" and "nurture" reacts
to the mixture of task types performed on a daily basis.
Task Quotient defines:
– Ideal / preferred mixture of task types
– Current job’s actual % mixture of task types
– Current job’s optimal % mixture of task types
– % change needed for each task type to move you from actual to ideal (preferred) state
– % change needed for each task type to move your current job to an optimal (efficient) state
– Current level of job satisfaction.
– An action plan methodology that you can individually use to improve your job satisfaction
This plan can be extended to discussions/recommendations with your boss for improved team member utilization
