 Behaviors, DISC Game

Below are two examples of how others are utilizing TTI Styles Revealed when providing insightful tips and facilitation notes using
this behavioral role playing exercise game.

Used as a Component to Succession Design Program
   –   8 - 12 people in each group.
   –  Strong diversity in behavioral styles works best.
   –  Participants should understand DISC and know their own behavioral style.
   –  Help participants think about team building.
   –  Create specific situations are d that relate to the participants and the focus
        of the program.
   –  Do not referred to it as a DISC exercise, and each style should be referred to
as a behavioral style until the exercise is over.
   –  Helps participants connect the dots and really see each behavioral style played out right in front of them.

Learning How to Watch and Listen for Behavioral Styles
   –  Used in DISC consulting.
   –  Best group size is 8 - 10 participants.
   –  Has been used in workshops of 8 - 25 people.
   –  Participants have had prior experience with DISC and know their behavioral style.
   –  Very helpful in defining the DISC traits through demonstration - which helps
        with language barriers.
   –  Assigning 2 leaders is more beneficial than having just one.
   –  The exercise is a great refresher and provides an opportunity to correct
any impressions the participants may have about DISC traits.
   –  Helps the participants learn how to watch and listen for behavioral styles to be revealed
in everyday communication and body language.
   –  Make sure everyone understands the situation, then give 10-15 minutes for discussion.

When done, have the group attempt to identify the roles and then have the observer(s) share thoughts on the interaction and styles of the participants.
